Becoming a supervisor
with Hammock

Hammock’s mission is to match talented trainee counsellors and psychotherapists with experienced and inspiring supervisors. Each supervision group will consist of three trainees who are integrative in their approach, and who have a strong appreciation for psychodynamic practice. Together, you will meet for 90 minutes, weekly.

Supervision at Hammock is an important opportunity for trainees to experience, first hand, the depth and rigour or top quality supervision. To support supervisors in focussing on their supervision process, Hammock will not place any line-management responsibilities on its supervisors.

As you will be working with your supervision groups online, you’ll have the flexibility to manage and arrange when your group meets. This can include weekends. Working online also means you’ll be working with supervisees from more diverse regions and backgrounds across the UK.

How to apply

Thank you for your interest in becoming a supervisor at Hammock. Below outlines the application process. Please contact Hammock with any further questions you may have in the meantime.
